So I was thinking, Hc = 75rd. Does that actually mean anything anymore?
Seeing as people trade for credits, I think the rare's should be valued in credits also. Just do the math, and work it out?

Example..
Hc = 14 So
Black Mono = 21 (1.5 x 14)

14 being the value of the Hc, And 1.5 being the value of the mono. Or whatever rare you're thinking of.

It was be so handy :D

It would make trading for creds a whole lot easier I suppose, This is actually quite good! -Danube- would have to decide about this one. :) +Rep for such a good idea even if it doesn't get put into use.

Also, New people - or people who don't really know the values of rares in credits are less likely to get ripped off if they see this :)

Another great reason for this idea to be put into place. :)

Does the whole RD thing actually matter now anyway? And if you wanted to do it, Id be happy to send you a list doing all the math :)

RD is currently having a change.

As for the idea credits always change which would make every rare needing to be updated alot, I suppose it motivates you but I don't think it will happen. But I do think it's a good idea and I'll give you some. +Rep xx

The RD system cannot be scrapped. It's hard to explain because no body else really knows how the Values are edited and the coding used (unless you are an ex-manager) The RD, CS and T are the main building blocks of the Rare Values, belive it or not every single value on the site actually has an RD value assigned to it but you can't see it. Every rare under 1.0 must have the RD value showing to you or the rares go messed up. If the rares were no longer given the RD value the whole system would mess up (as thats how the rares are put into values order, via the RD value and not the CS T Value) it would mean that we would have to rewrite the whole program just for this little change that someone could work out themselves anyway. Theres a few changes that can be made to the values but this can't as it's the main building blocks.

Thanks

I don't really understand a word of what you just said, but what you said sounded confusing. :O

ye it is lol

I'll say it plainly

An RD value is the Main currency on the Panel, Every rare has one even though you can't see the RD value on most rares. It's like the Penny we say £1 but that actually means 100p if we get rid of the RD value it's like getting rid of the Penny, everything would mess up and everything would have to be changed (recoding the panel tbh)

Danube I understand what you said about the coding in, but perhaps a seperate section for Rares into Credits?

That would just be pointless really, we'd have sections called "Normal Rares Into Credits" it would confuse people more and they would be like whats difference between RD and Credits and then be like saying what you said at the start "why aint they all in credits anyways".

Alot of people still trade using the RD values, you can use the RD to work out the values of anything e.g. credits so there is no point in taking so much time to change everything just so people don't have to get there calculators out :P

It would be a waste of time to create a new section with credits. First you'd have to split code the panel into RD and Credits. Then i'd have to work out every single rare into a credit value and some would end up at like 24.5565753 creds which is stupid. It's hard enough me having to add over 100 diner furni items soon when they leave the catalouge
