Thanks very much :)

The logic in that is non-existant. The only reason Leeds United came back from their deduction is because the team had will power and it spurred them on. However, yes, I believe Leeds were the strongest team in the division last term but the fact is, on the 25th of May 2008, you bottled it and lost to a pub team.

Now, when a team comes up from the conference in six years beats a team who 6 years ago were in a semi final of the Champions League, you can come back and say I can't diss Leeds.

Sorry but i disagree i think we won so many games simply because we were one of the best teams in league one. Yes we bottled it in the playoff final but if it was not for the points we would of been promoted automatically ( Coming just behind swansea the champions )

Are squad is stronger this year and i think it proves we are a good side in this league when we can beat swindon with 10 men for 85 mins.

And from the swindon fan it seem's like sour grapes to me. Get over it you lost Beckford scored two. I bet if he went to swindon ( Lol why would he do that? ) You would love him.

O.o! I thought he was the thread starter :P
Leeds would have gotten into the play-offs anyway... we were one of the best teams in that league... The -15 points did spur us on but the team still performed under pressure which not all teams can do.

To be fair, from the 4 games we played against you last season, I only ever heard your lot sing; MOT, WACCOE, Glory Glory and We Are Leeds... Saying that, at least MOT and WACCOE are different from the usual **** served up like '...... ........ barmy army!'.

As for Beckford being an asset to any team, he wasn't for us. I won't be the only one to say that he is quite comfortably the worst player that's donned a Carlisle shirt in the last 4/5 seasons. Still a top fella though.

Firstly I didn't give a reason of why we went into admin, I was just stating that we did so we can't possibly have all of this money people keep talking about.
Secondly I do have a clue because I was checking the news reports, the papers when the event actually happened - which I'm sure if your team got into that situation you would do too.

Actually, if you think of it, the downfall of Leeds United has something to do with our 2-1 F.A. Cup victory. They were flying high in the premier league, when they got shot in the neck. I'm not saying it's a big reason but it's one.

It isn't Peter Ridsdale who did it, it's Ken "The Cheater" Bates.

you said to leave at 4am aswell tbh...
and I don't sit there with a stop watch looking at the time.

No, they're there to measure the time taken... which is why I said it.

I thought that sentence was pretty straight forward seeing that because I said "stopwatch" it was obvious I meant the time taken so I didn't elaborate. However you seem to not understand.

"I don't sit there with a stop watch to measure the time that it takes to go from cornwall to leeds" I hope you understand it better now.

No, you didn't say measure, nor did you say the italics. You said you sat there with a stopwatch looking at the time.

How can you argue something which you've written down and has been archived? It means two different things.

Leeds.... a club that simply failed.

Shame really, I want them back in the premiership.

ofcourse I didn't write the italics - the italics are there to show what I could have added if I had known you would need everything explained to you in fine detail.
