Hi all
Well I'm 14 and, by the looks of it, I should start shaving. Starting to grow bumfluff on my face :/

One problem. I have spots. How do I shave with spots? Has anyone else had this problem before, and if so, how did you deal with it?

I'm not a fan of shaving with acne, I find shaving cream is much more effective. ;)

Use an electric razor to gently go over your face, will take longer but theres no need for actual still blades and much less pain :)

Apparently electric razors don't work as well, and our school is stupid because they say if you shave it has to be all clean shaven (electric razors wont be enough) :(

Oh if its for school, then go to your docter and get a note of them saying that you wont be able to be clean shaven until the acne is cleaned up?

There isn't a clear sign saying NO BEARDS :P It says on the rules all students must be clean shaven :l Stupid, I know.

Also, Metric, can I see your beard? :P

Yes clean shaven, but it doesn't say which region of your body.
Go in with a full blow beard and when you get stopped by a teacher be like "Oh... I thought the rule meant somewhere else."

Then show him/her your clean shaven armpits.

I Would Say Electric Razor, it does work and it does leave a clean shave, if it doesnt i sujest you are doing it wrong. :) shaving gel also works but i find you always cut yourself. So Electric shaver :)

Just wash lots so you get rid of the spots then hopefully you'll be able to shave, if the hairs are long trim them with scissors then just lightly go over with a manual shaver.

If you're careful around the acne areas you should be fine shaving over them. Plenty of shaving foam though :P.

If you use foam it usually doesnt affect spots, works for me. Does make your skin feel weird though

I use an electric shaver when I'm feeling lazy and it does the job fine, I get a clean shave off it, and it only takes a few minutes..

An electric shaver will be fine for starting. You don't really need to wet shave until it starts getting thick.

Apparently you shouldn't shave when you got acne, because it makes it worse, the best option is get some cream to remove them, then this is what i do is shave my mustache and bearded when i got a haircut..

Try waxing them out, shouldn't be to much of a problem if they are only the fluffy hairs that teens start of with. :)

Christ you make it sound like they actually enforce that rule at school, they don't. Its a crap school now, especially with that ***** as a principal, hence why I left.

The only way you can get away with a beard in my school is if it's for religious reasons.
