How the hell do you play it? It's like every time someone on my team fouls them for the ball it ends then you need to kick off again etc.. It's so annoying and what a crap sport.

I didn't buy it 'for the achievements' I bought it to get good at it because I'm thinking of buying Madden 09. And how do you know I didn't rent it or something? And if I see a game for £5 I think I'll happily pick it up. ;)

Because when I was little there was a Rugby game that went on for ages you could tackle, get the ball then score but this is just different.. That's why it's not a crap sport in my eyes. Anything else you wanna say? If not get out of my thread because you're not even answering my question nor helping.

Its all about the playbook. You need to pick the right play for the amount of yards you have to play. There are websites that can give good advice for plays.

American football isnt rugby here.. they have different rules and that :P there did used to be rugby games but not sure if there is any on the 360

Christ no, why do you think they're padded out? Why they have stoppages after each play, forward passes, seperate defense and offense, field goal kickers etc.

The biggest similarity is the shape of the ball and even thats not a real match.

What if you play it on Rookie? Don't they put in those gay restrictions that stop you crossing the line of scrimmage etc.

I used that for ages when I picked it up first as I baarely knew the sport.

i havent played 06 but i have from like madden 98 - madden 05 + 08 + 09

they all change so its better to get 08

Its obv. for the gamerscore lol. And that madden is nothing like madden 09. So why would you buy a game if you dont know the rules or anything about it. If you cant name one of the teams in teh game. dont buy it.

Do you have difficultie reading? I said if I saw the game for £5 I'd happily pick it up, but my brother had bought it for like £3 from eBay. And if I did buy it for gamerscore, why does it matter to you what I do with my money? Because £3 is a lot. :O

I've played Madden since 04 on the PS2, I watch it on tv/online and I'm a fan and hardly a gamerscore ***** am I seeing as for for 3 years of me playing there wasn't such thing.

And fans whom are in England don't get too watch NFL that often, not all of us have Sky so we can't always watch it.

Well I've only got about 600 so I guess that means I also played it due to boredom for the gamerscore too. :rolleyes: And where did I say you didn't watch the NFL? I said there is a possibility you only play the video games.

Anyway it's just turning into an argument and no one has actually answered my question so I'm gonna close the thread. :)
