The iPhone warranty
iPhone comes with 90 days of complimentary technical support. In addition, your iPhone, its rechargeable battery, and all included accessories are covered against defects for a full year from the purchase date by a limited hardware warranty.

Try and get some kinda of extended warranty or insurance. Not sure how much it costs, but best bet is to look on their website or ask them.

once your year of free internet roaming on O2 is up then you can unlock it and get one of those £20/m deals that offer you like 900mins without the phone from t-mobile.
Have fun with it!

How much is it on payg?

Quite simply expensive. £350 for 8GB version and the pay&go tariffs aren't all that great either. complete rippoff.

I guess you could get one of your parents to do an o2 contract deal and then pay for the phone yourself and they can put the simcard into another phone which accepts o2 simcards and then unlock it.

Nah, with that signal you have GPRS. The most you would get with that is 3 bar EDGE (Once you get update). Make sure you have 3G enabled aswell though.

Can someone clarify something for me?

In the UK, can you get a iPhone on a PAYGO plan, and pay only like...10 pounds a month and get unlimited browsing AND e-mails? Or is it PAYGO and you have to have a minimum amount of like 30 pounds a month and you only get 3mb a month transfer?

I think its like a normal PAYG, say you can choose with plan you want. Then like put £10 on etc?

Oh, ok. In Canada you can't get PAYGO, you need to have a minimum of a $60 dollar /mo plan, and that doesn't include unlimited browsing.

I see. Well there isn't any big rules over PAYG. There's like different tariffs you can pick which suits you needs like more minutes or texts etc. Then you decide how much you want to top up each month and so on.

To get the internet browsing you have to top up a minimum of £10 a month.

Just because he updates his phone won't give him EDGE or 3G, it depends on the network coverage -_-

Isn't that only after the year is up or something? Yeah your right about the connection, but he asked me the other day how do I use 3G lol :P
