v29 loading problems: My Theory

Many people are able to log on and enter rooms with clones but not with their main characters. So, I did some testing. First, I took off all HC clothes, this didnt work though.

There must be a problem with the coding in some sort of feature of individual characters which is proving to not be compatible in this wave of v26.

My guess:

currently showing gold hc badges

My current badge on my homepage is gold HC! However, this badge no longer exists, right? its split into years?

So, theres probably a problem loading this badge if you have it showing :S

It shows me wearing a gold HC badge, but that badge does not exist in my widget!!!!

I mean, correct me if im wrong, is this the problem with you guys?

Edit: people like immenseman cant view theirs either (also showing gold HC on homepage)

You still have the HC badge because you haven't logged into the hotel. When you log into the hotel it refreshes your badges.

Hence why some old Hobbas still have their Hobba badge on their homepage :)

yep it seems it's something to do with having your gold HC badge on when you logged off last before the update!

I just thought about that. I have a gold hc badge and so does my brother and we can't get into rooms, which really would explain it.

Has anyone reported that they believe it's the gold HC badge being last worn that is causing the problem? Great detective work btw. My clone had gold HC hidden, and I can sign into that and enter rooms, but I can't enter rooms on my main account which had HC showing.

It seems that almost everyone on the hotel found out about this, so i'm sure staff found out already, and plus the CFH isn't on so there is no way of contacting with a staff immediatly (unless of course someone has a staff on f/l but thats beside the point anyways)
I hope it does work soon, i'm getting really bored of HV + battleball games

Nope, havent reported it. Hopefully habbo knows that this is the problem, and if they dont, I should request some $$ in return for the info xP

(if like 20% of the people cant log on habbo, major loss in profits when those people quit)

I dont think anyone knew before the word was spread on here. I asked if anyone though it could be possible on my console and they all said

Im pretty sure nobody directly contacted staff about it, or really knew about it, or else it would have been reported and addressed by staff on the home page, or even fixed.

You have a different error. Our error is in loading rooms, you likely have some sort of shockwave file problem or something.

I reported it just to be sure by using the Help Tool, there is an area for reporting glitches and bugs.

K so it turns out, not everyone with gold HC badge is having this error. It's only happening for the people who are 3yrs+HC.. AKA, People who have paid habbo the most :-)!
