Talk Sound: Its Returning


Talk Sound is on a comeback! After some dedicated behind the scenes work, and some big plans given the go ahead, the talksound team are ready to reveal, Talk Sound: The Second Generation!

The new project, brings new hope for the once popular site with many new features such as:


New Emerging band promotion schemes

A Brand New Forum

New Designs and Layouts

A user system

A link between Composers and listeners#

Music News

Latest Releases

And much more!

But obviously, we cant do this by ourselves! And therefore, we need your help!
We are currently looking to fill 2 more managerial postitions. The Two Managerial positions we are hoping to fill are: Technical Manager. Design Manager.

The two new members of the team will be expected to work closely together and help with the overall developement of the site. We are producing the site using Joomla and vBulletin and therefore knowledge of this is needed.

Also, we would like to bring in features from the older versions such as,

Reopening connections with record labels to bring you official Merchandise!
Band of the Month Polls and Prizes

Sorry, but you're using an ancient font.. How do we know that your site isn't going to be rendered in "Comic Sans MS"

Another forum member did own the site, and i was asked to help out with the re-populating.

Where trying to establish a connection between Listeners and musicians, and also allow small scale musicians to be herd!

If you can help, where still in need of the other 2 managers, who will share equal ownership over the site with me and the other manager.

Still open for apps =]

If it's just going to be a forum, don't try it, what band wants to be a part of a forum?

They want full fledged social networking, and that's where Last.FM, MySpace, and Purevolume come in.

Its not going to be a forum ^^ lol There'll be a forum.. But the main area where concentrating on is the site, and the usersystem.

Usersystem? This isn't a fansite.. you're not going to get big bands, small bands, and big fans, to communicate on a level like that.

I agree.

But a forum will fail, fair enough if you code a discussion area for the website, but not a seperate forum.

Honestly, why flame. If you dont like. Press the X. My thread, its a project. and its called. Trying things out. Its worth having a go and gaining experience rather than sit back and let everyone else do the idea;s youve come up with
