is anybody doing it?
We've got to chose now fast we want to work in order to choose which moduels we do in janurary, june, then year 13 too.
Anyone done further maths know whats best to do?

Was thinking of doing C1, C2, D1 in janurary
C3, FPM1, and M1 in june,
doing S1 in summer
then FPM2, M2, and D2 in year in janurary
and then FPM3, and C4 in june.

+ in last term do any resits because im aiming for 98% in first 3/4 modules, so ill need to resit the easier ones.
gah
i dont know
too much to decide on :(

yes LOL, had it today cus i do FM at the uni every wednesday for two hours after school, such a drag when you've already done normal maths in the day time :X and it sucks cus they use to do it from my school last year, instead i have to trek to somewhere else

i'm doing C1, S1 and FP1 in january :\
C1 and FP1 are ok, but S1 is just plain BORING!
january is gonna be a sucky month for me, three maths modules, then a bio and chem module as well :\ DEAD.

im second year college
i originally opted to do just a level maths, but i decided i want to do AS further maths this year, alongside A2 Maths

for AS Maths i did C1, C2, D1
this year for A2 Maths i'm doing C3, C4, S1
and this year for AS further maths im doing D2, M1, FP1

im doing C3 , FP1 in JAN
C4, S1, D2, M1 in JUNE

for C1 i got 90/100, i'm resitting to get 100 - doing FP1 makes C1 a piece of piss, i got 87/100, i'm resitting to get 100 - doing C3 Makes C2 a piece of piss, and D1 i got 73/100 - i'm resitting to get 90 .
i got 14 exams in january 09, - 5 of them are maths, but C1 and C2 require no extra revision really because theyre expexted for FP1/C3. only d1 will need some revision because its totally different.

if i were you i'd personally do:

C1-C2-D1 in January 09
C3-FP1- + M1 OR S1
FP2- + M1 OR S1 + D2 OR M2
FP3-C4- + D2 OR M2

i wouldn't advise doing the four modules you said in summer because theyre all completely different - oh yeah also if i where you i'd check the exam timetables because they're will be alot of clashes - eg. in january 09 i got FP1, C3 , and 2 physics exams on the same day, usually applied modules are on same day - D1/M1/S1 etc.

although it should be noted that FP2,FP3 do not follow on you could switch them around - FP2 is HARDEST module

AT EAMONN: you sure you doing FP1 in january - the specificaition for FP1 requires knowledge on C1 and C2 so it would make sense to teach you C2 first then do FP1 in june :P
