with the collapse of one investment bank, northern rock nationalised and Lloyds TSB and HBOS merging, AIG nationalised and FMae FMac nationalised, how far will it go?

how much will the FTSE fall, how far will the £ fall against the €.

Well it could be said that the British economy is in a pretty dire state... but it's just as bad in most other developed countrys around the world.

I think financial ruin is a slight exhagerration though lol

It'll get worse before it gets better, I predict mid 09 it will begin to get better.
