My o2wirelessbox packed in, so I've been using the AOL netgear router but re-configured to o2 broadband.
I keep getting:
Wed, 2008-09-17 19:52:51 - Loss of synchronization :59
and disconnect from the internet, this is VERY regular.
How can I fix this?

Isn't it usually on a label on the router?
Well o2 uses ADSL2+, and AOL only use ADSL i think. Is the router compatible with ADSL2+?

AsN!ck said you can try the compatablity side. You could by a new one OR. When you ge the error do you get a button that says error report or somthing like that next to it if yes C&P it here so we can see it

I have o2 Broadband, happens to me as well all the time, im even using o2wirelessbox, I think it is to much "noise" on your line
Call o2 Broadband on 0800 230 0202 and ask for your line to have a detailed check up
try resetting your router?

We got a new one because it kept doing that and its stopped doing it.

So I'll wait for my wireless box, which has been 2 weeks replacement. :S
+ No, I'm using the ADSL service because my area doesn't support ADSL2 or any other type of broadband other than mobile wireless.

Electrical noise?
Shouldn't really effect the line as it's a digital signal?
Unless you have your power cables bunched up with your network cables:P

Noise does affect a line and can cause certain people to have really bad disconnection problems which eventually causes the router sync at a lower speed that you can actually get.
I ment it shouldn't affect it as much sorry. :P
Unless your mains cables are right next to your network ones.
I have a netgear router and it disconnects alot... for no reason.

And, you're not helping.. If you told me how they helped you it would most likely help me.
