Right so I've been flirting with Photoshop and I've come up with a hosting layout I actually quite like, what do you think?
By the way, it is for sale, fully coded in valid xhtml & css :)

Its alright I guess, just its got alot of issues - which I shall now stateth to ye olde man.
First of all, it doesn't look like a hosting layout - more a generic layout which has been given some basic hosting based content. If I was in your position I would go round looking at some hosting sites such as uk2.net and other more modern hosting designs. Just some images of servers/hard drive vectors would cut it for me.
Second is the colour scheme, its a nice neutral scheme but you need to give a bit more definition to the text as at the moment it feels as though it all blurs together, which may entail potential clients strugling to read the vast amount of content. And the testimonails could do with being made the width of the column rather than lost in the middle.
On the plus side it does look nice, nice headers etc.. although the header font could be downsized 6points or something. Padding on the very top would also be a nice thing for me to set it away from the browser borders.
But yea, I like it - good job but keep messing around with it to a get a top notch product.
Yh , it does look more like a generic layouot but.. Still its a good layout and im sure it'll sell well ^^

I agree with each of your points there actually, I do feel it's more of a modern layout which would probably be used as more of a portfolio layout more than anything! To make it more "hosty" I was going to throw a few server images blended into the banner with a very low opacity for some sexy taste. For the header, photogay wouldn't let me move the text to where I actually wanted it - haha.
Other than that I guess it could be a portfolio/hosting layout with a few tweaks ;)

Lucas you're shelling out the layouts atm.
Nice one, I like it. To save myself some typing I agree with the above though.

Looks like a blog layout edited with 3 hosting plan boxes.
1/10.
Some parts of it looks good. I don't like the nav on top. I don't like the blue boxes where the "Testimonials" and the other texts are ;)
7/10
