I don't smoke however I'm just wondering how old you need to be. I know **** is now 18, are lighters still 16? I want one to warm my hands up. :P

In America there is no age.. I mean they won't sell them to a 5/6 year old.. but I remember buying them when I was younger (13/14)

Meehh... UKs changed alot in the past couple of years.
i used to go down the shop every morning and buy my £1.50 pack of L&B with my dinner money and then sell them at school for 50p a *** to the rich kids :)
be loaded by lunch time ready to go down the road and pick up a £4 HQ

errr over ere, u can buy lighters at any age lol. of course logic says noone sells em to kids .

and i didn't know there was a legal age to buy a lighter? I've bought lighters from shops where they'll refuse to sell me **** :S

You'll be pretty unlucky to get ID'd (at corner shops) for a lighter if your 16-17. I never do for lighters/riz, and your meant to be 18 for both. Cigs now and then, and alcohol almost always (I'm 17).

by law it's 16 but most shops will only sell you them if you're 18.

Here in New Zealand, I'm pretty sure you only have to be 13.. maybe even younger at some stores. I had no idea that there were such harsh age restrictions on them elsewhere.
