COLUMBIA, S.C. - Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and a popular disc jockey were critically injured in a Learjet crash in South Carolina that killed four people, authorities said Saturday.

Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia.

I heard about this story in passing, but only just found out who was onboard. It would be a such a shame to loose either Travis or AM, considering they're both still so young and in the prime of their career.

That's awful.

Travis is one of my favorite musicians, and one of the best drummers of all times in my opinion.

Blink182 reunion? ;o

No Blink182 reunion, I was looking for a wittyish title. I failed.

Travis is in critical condition with burns from the waist down and AM has major burns to his face.. both will survive.

I'm gutted :(

Travis Barker, young and in his prime? Wouldn't say so lol, and I think more of a tragedy is the 4 who died - these two will be fine

I know, but it's human instinct to care for someone you actually know rather than someone who you dont.
Travis body art from waste down is all gone, he spent like $50,000 on his whole body art.
DJ-AM's scalp is burned bad.
The injuries could take a year to heal.

Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Burn Center reported that Barker sustained second and third degree burns on his lower body and torso and was expected to recover.
