Hey there, thank's for reading;
Uplodu is now replacing DownloadElite as an uploader, Katy Perry (Declan) on the Forum is now under control of DownloadElite, It's in good hands ;]
[Note: I'm only trying to tell you about Uplodu, not start any argument, I respect all Uploaders, and all Opinions, so I would only appreciate constructive critisism :)]
Uplodu is my brand new File (Not Solely Image) Uploader
We have a 100 Megabytes Maximum File Size
We allow many many File Types
We're hosted with the one and only vpsWOW, so we guarantee Speed and Uptime ;]
We're also in the progress of finishing the Uplodu Script, which allows anyone to freely run a File Uploader on their own website.
Some pages are not yet complete, but will be by tomorrow.
Apologies to Dentafrice and others, the layout has the occasional stripe.
Enjoy, and do share your comments :D

Its nice, just mix and match the backgrounds a bit, so the part with the text stands out more (I recommend a light grey). :)

Sorry, but the design is amazingly awful.

The uploading process is awful.
Hardly any of the pages work.

I hate that design, its sto stripy. Sorry.
The uploading process is awful.
Totally agree, and 100Mb max file size? Bad idea.

Considering his server will time out on a file that size.

Just a follow up, the pages are going up today, I did mention some weren't active.
We personally believe the 100 MB Limit will work, especially once our AJAX Uploader comes along.
Sorry if you don't like the layout, but I believe it's nice and clean.
I think my favourtes list is about to grow... :)
Good luck and all the best!! :D

What are the stats of your server?

AJAX uploading is not and will not be possible. You have your technology mixed up.

I've changed my mind, the layout looks cheap and empty, sorry.
Involve some flash buttons in there and mix and match the backgrounds of the body and main a bit, as at the moment, it's very plain.

Doing it like that is worse than using tables.

I don't think I have the technology mixed up..
Ajax will display a bar telling you of the upload speed, amount transferred etc.
And keep the upload alive by having to gather information about the upload constantly.
As for the layout, we'll be working on it asap.
New Update: Jordan is our new Technical Producer, he'll be working on a Usersytem and Many other features for Uplodu in the near future.
And the Layout has been changed from a large image. My mistake there.
The design is disgusting.
Create something better, like TehUpload

The layout is awful, and uploading is awful. Why just show a page saying file uploaded, click to view? Why not show a page with a thumbnail, forum embedding code, html code etc. Sorry but due to the layout and uploading process I will not be using it.
A lot of users dislike the layout, maybe you should change it?

Thanks for the feedback, like I said, a new Uploading System and Layout are being designed this second.

You do have the technology mixed up. You're not uploading with AJAX, or Javascript... you're monitoring file progress yes.. but not uploading.
What if a user has Javascript turned off, you going to support them too?

Thanks :)
Anyway Dentafrice, I was referring to the monitor of File Progress being controlled by AJAX, not the Upload. There's no evidence of a timeout to date, we will be testing this through the week, aswell as adding new features.

All of these arguments between different upload sites need to stop ;l

How are we arguing? LOL. I'm just taking the stance of a person wanting to upload, and pointing out the faults in it.

Well I do appreciate that Dentafrice, I know you mean well..
Anyhoo, please do feel free to attempt a large file, I can only hope you are successful.

I'll be sure to upload a 100MB file.
I'm going to test the upload limits on a few uploaders, going to do a 95mb file to TehUpload and Uploadu and a few others (If the file type is accepted) :D
