No offence i understand you Mods/Admins and everyone do alot of work and everything on these forums but when you lock this thread for pointless posting due to the fact that you don't want to admit your wrong is just dumb.

I don't actually care that much about the thread its just that the fact you can't admit your wrong is just plain dumb... Anyone who reads that thread knows we are right. You could have simply said something, I agree yes maybe it was getting spam'd but guess what so are all the other threads like it.

I don't get the pointless posting comments. How do you know the comments were pointless? Saying "yeah I am 2" isn't pointless. Saying that and not actually doing that is pointless and lying. I suppose it's up to whoever is moderating that forum, but as far as I am aware post counts mean nothing on this forum, I see no bragging at least...

I don't get the pointless posting comments. How do you know the comments were pointless? Saying "yeah I am 2" isn't pointless. Saying that and not actually doing that is pointless and lying. Yes, I have seen the other threads in this forum, I assume you mean the Feedback Forum...what point are you trying to make?
Valid points like "Forum Games is pointless posting", "What music are you listening to? is pointless posting"? - they aren't exactly valid when people aren't posting the same thing as they did 3 hours ago. The whole point of the Forum Games section is to have fun, so that is already canceled out as a "valid" reason.

Also if your talking about getting post count up look at the forum games section, and as JackBuddy said all those other ones.

My vote is to have it back, or to remove all the other ones in every other section.

There is a temporary re-direct on the thread when it is moved. And you seem to have found the forum now so don't be silly. And yes i bet they would aswell, though not up to me to have them shut.

After that you repeated the same argument about the other threads that are pointless then began to discuss how mods had stopped posting and how the lack of moderation is shocking from then on which had no relevance to your point and not helping your case.

You did not receive a warning as it wasn't that post which was directly targeted and edited by a Mod. There may be more pointless things, and if you had a look around more than 85% of them are dealt with, but it doesn't help if users don't use the report button..

I respect what your saying, but yes some posts are pointless but im pretty sure in almost all the "what are" threads theres something pointless posted. All im saying is maybe a warning? or reduce the posts of people who abuse the thread. Yes i know there was lots of spamming happening but the thread is pretty much like the others.

I can see your point. Reading that thread, the good come backs came back and no-one replied to them. It's all good replying to a thread, but when new points come across, you can't ignore them. If this thread is anything like the ones in the Forum Games section, then it should be allowed. If not, turn off the post count in the games forum or delete it altogether.

Don't be silly. It depends if the forum had a good use of members. If it did, then it was wrong to remove it, because it served it's point. Besides, if members want to raise their post count, go crazy in the forum games section. There really isn't much change for pointless posting.

Well I'm not gonna deny that there wasn't spamming within the thread but what about these threads...:

"Post something you have in common with the person above!!!!!!!!!!"
"What did you last listen to?"
"What are you wearing?"
"What are you eating/ drinking right now!?!?!??!?!!?"
"What film did you last watch?"

All those threads serve the same purpose as the one that got closed.

@Heart Break Kid... closing every other section would be Habbox's loss. The Runescape section usually has the most viewers.

Nobody uses the forum games section for fun, or posts what they are eating because they actually think people really do care.

Yerr well yes there is spam in the RS im not saying there Isn't but im saying that there is in every section and the Fact that you Delete the "what are" in our section should do the same in any other, you might not find it interesting to see what people are working on but others might.
