I know this isn't exactly a major thing but I was thinking of making an ajax chat/shoutbox script, that people can insert into their site as a little feature. Obviously it will be free.

I'd like to know two things. If it's been done before and any requested features.

Yeah, someone on this forum made something similar, but I don't think they ever got round to releasing it.

The Habbo-Works User System (http://www.habbo-works.com/) has a shoutbox (I believe done in Ajax as it is very fast which is habbo style. So it has been accomplished before.

Sort of forgot about this thread :P.

The Bubble Board was a service provided to users on Habbo Tool's website. Unfortunately Habbo Tools shut down in 2004.

I re-made Bubble Board a year or two ago, not sure if I ever released it though...

Yeah, networkhabbo.com had one, where it had actions and wot not like

name mooned name ect..

+ all the bbcode, and it showed who was active within the shoutbox, it was really good and stylish, also the same person made them for ehabbo.net which was official on .ca.

Would it be one server?, like say if two sites embedded it, and i was online, would i be online on both embedded chats

that would be good, get very active
