Well, its happened.
I've been on Microsoft website, and UPS box thing been sent to me. I got an email saying I should attach an invoice and whatever to the console, amongst other information. Although I'm not a company so I guess thats invalid?

So is it just a case of getting a returns label? Am I meant to send it to a certain UPS 'base'? It provides me a list.

Also, do Microsoft give you more LIVE as compensation?

I rang but he said only if I have an extended warranty?
Although I'm not sure if he thought I meant I've had it over a year.

When i bought another xbox cos mine got RROD and was out of warranty, i got one from gamestation and got their extended warranty so i can replace it instantly if it breaks, he might of meant that but try going into the shop and asking :P

I had to do it about 2 months ago. Made me print of the return labels and addresses and stuff. I had to stick it to a box with the Xbox in. Then got the tracking information and tracked it, took about 2-3 weeks for it it to return. They give you 1 month Xbox live when you get it back.
