Hello.
I just wanted to tell you guys that if you want to download torrents faster, you could use BitTornado.

BitTornado is faster than almost all the torrent downloaders.

For an example: If you use BitTorrent, and download a movie. You download it in 500 KB/s, with BitTornado, you could get it with like 900 KB/s.

Enjoy!

uTorrent and Azureus are faster mate ;). The difference in clients speed is small as they all work in a similar way. Features and settings is the main difference between clients.

Not really. Your suggestion is invalid and your example overly exaggerated. BitTornado is a very out of date client (last release was in the end of 2006) and does not support a great deal of features. Without independent proof your claim is frankly a load of bullcrap.

:D I told you :P

Other than system use I notice little to no difference between clients, it's all subjective anyway. Unless you download the same torrent, connect to the same seeds and peers using the same connection with the same settings, you can't say that any is faster than another.

uTorrent is much more "lightweight" and also maintained a lot more with frequent updates.

Meti it's just probably your internet speed and due to the fact you live in Sweden, uTorrent is fastest for me.

The client doesn't affect the speed unless it's really stupid. Speed is affected only by the people you're connecting to so stop saying "oh my client speeds it up", no it doesn't, it's just getting more peers to connect to you that will speed it up / faster peers.

This is why I don't use torrents, slow and unreliable.
