OS: Windows Server 2003
Server: IIS 5.2
<?php exec("reboot.bat"); ?>gives me:
Bad Gateway Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.
If anyone could shed some light on fixing this, I'd appreciate it!

I'm guessing reboot.bat reboots the server from what the name implies?
If so, does the IIS user have the correct permissions to actually handle calls to the OS?

no, the reboot.bat file restarts a shoutcast server. I've given CMD.exe the correct permissions, yes.

It seems off topic and probably is; but is Windows Server any good?
Thinking about making a server to host my music on so I can access it wherever... And I have a copy my dad never used and a spare XP PC with 1gb RAM.

If it's pro you can install IIS onto it as a Windows component, or just use Xampp, it's decent enough. Though with IIS/Apache on XP I wouldn't go looking for any decent control panels, as there's not much of a selection.
