Proposal VIP + Features

This debate has gone on quite a long time that people who have subscribed to VIP+ need more features and I've come up with a few.

- First of all, it would be good if there could be a few more Arcade Games specifically for VIP+'s.
- More Specific Names. For VIP+, it would be good if we could have more items in our names such as crosses and stars etc - Also more frequent name changes would be good for people who constantly want to change theirs.
- Longer editing time. Currently, all Users have fifteen minutes editing time. I believe giving VIP+'s more time would be a good feature.
- Longer HTML user titles. Again, allowing users to have better HTML usertitles is a plus - Even if that is just more HTML coding.

I don't think they can do anything about HTML user titles. But I like the rest of the ideas :)

Theres a limit to how much HTML you can use to set characters. If it can be boosted it could be considered to be a VIP+ feature.

I think maybe around 30-45 minutes. If it's around 20 thats only 5 more minutes which is a bit pointless.

Depends if there's any risks, can't see the harm myself but they may want a time limit for some reason. Perhaps they could trial it for a month, rather than speculate for a change? If they did edit their original post a day later to make it off topic, the posts following that would be on-topic still, which isn't really much of a problem.

That's the thing, I can't think of anything bad with unlimited time :P Posts following it will still be on topic and people tend to read the last posts aswell as the first post, to get the geneal jist of where the thread is going.

£4 is a lot however it goes to helping Habbox. Also, £4 a month isn't that dear considering the average teenagers weekly pocket money is £5-£10.

I think £3 would be the right price and I agree if people wanted to donate they wouldn't care about what they're getting. Like you said, making it cheaper by a pound would increase sales significantly.

The editing time limit thing is a lot safer to do now with the editing history, so I don't see much of a reason for it to be an issue.

More arcade games sounds good.
The names thing probably can't be done because of american keyboards having different buttons or something and it makes things hard when searching for users.

VIP+'s can change to any colour which isn't special such as Anniversary or Christmas :)

I think a prolonged editing time would be a lot better - 1 hour or so. People may not edit it to an off topic post however change what they said on topic which could annoy people (if they said something wrong, then changed it), etc.

They got two just last week I believe it was, two new colors, and removal of Ads.

1) If that can be done (its probably possible I'll check it out) we will look into that.
2) There is a reason we don't allow +s and *s, to prevent confusion with built-in suffixes that designate a user as invisible or on your buddy list. And non-keyboard characters make it very difficult for us to find you if we need you ;)
3) I don't believe its possible to give certain users longer edit times but we've discussed this before its for moderative purposes so it won't be eliminated
4) The forum sets its own cutoff for usertitles, its imposed by the system, and hand-counting characters to make sure normal VIPs didn't exceed theirs wouldn't be practical.

Colour blindness comes in many different variants. Sometimes you won't be able to differentiate from different shades of a colour and will see them all the same. Some times you get colours mixed up, sometimes you can't see certain colours on different backgrounds etc. It's not getting colours the opposite of what they are, though that is also a form.

That is possibly one of the most ridiculous assumptions to make - you have to be ready to admit that you were wrong because you might make incorrect assumptions. Does it really matter who suggested what first and why? It is allowed to suggest things again, different circumstances calls for changes in systems and forums. One moment one word could be rude, the next time it may not. Same with VIP features, vBulletin update forums quite often, and with some new updates comes new features! :)

It's not suggested that often really... Enough times, but it's usually when something new comes about. VIP on it's own was looking fine for features (with the odd few suggestions). It's only with VIP+ and that's recent, so technically the suggestions aren't old as they're for VIP+, not VIP :P
