Hey all,

Sorry the forum changes are late this week, we had serious problems on Sunday with the forum so we had to make the changes throughout the day today, but we also had some other tasks to deal with. So two big changes came this time round, but one you'll have to wait a few more hours for! But here are the current changes for this week:

Revamp of the Rules (though not THAT big, this was the first big revamp of the week)
PMs notifying you about arcade events
Renaming Other Pictures to Other Pictures and Photography
RSS Feeds for the Habbo UK News Section
Decision on "Post Your" threads

As we said there's one more change on the way so sit tight!

We have rewritten and basically condensed the forum rules, making them easier to read, less numerous, and hopefully easier to remember. We also removed the Trading and Graphics Rules as they are posted in the forums, and instead include links to Forum Specific rules. Hopefully these changes make it better for everyone, it's important to note that there were no changes to the rules themselves - simply the way in which they are presented.

You can view the rules here (http://www.habboxforum.com/faq.php?faq=rules_main).

Based on requests we have enabled notifications for the arcade, this feature PMs you when:

Your high score has been beaten
You have won a tournament
You have advanced in a tournament
A tournament you are in has started
You have one day left to play in your tournament before you are disqualified.
You have been disqualified from a tournament
You have been eliminated from a tournament

Hopefully you all enjoy the new feature :)

Based on requests, Pictures (no alterations) has had a name change to Pictures and Photography (no alterations), so as to specify a place for Photography to be posted and discussed.

Enjoy!

Hey everyone,

We have had some issues recently with "What are you ____" threads. After discussion forum management has decided that all "What are you _____", with one exception will be closed. The reason for this is we believe that the purpose of the forum is to create a community and discussion. These posts do not foster a discussion, nor do they foster a community, you post your thing, and move on then someone else posts theirs and moves on. A forum is supposed to be a community, a thread a discussion. The What are you ____ threads are not discussions.

The What are you Listening To thread is the ONE exception we are making, because we feel that this one thread does have a significant purpose in that you can get popular songs from other people before you and often some interaction does go on. However, it will now be closely moderated, and posts that aren't songs (ie theme tunes, listening to the rain patter on my windowsill) will be considered pointless. The "What are you listening to" thread will also serve as a test ground, we will see if watching it more closely works and in the future we may allow other similar threads if they foster a discussion between parties. However for the moment, all threads to do with "What are you _____" will be closed under the pointless posting rule.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

The RSS Feed for the Habbox News feed has been enabled in the Habbo UK News and Rumors section. All news posts on Habbox.com to do with Habbo UK will now have a thread posted in the forum by the Habbox News Bot for discussion by the public!

Due to unavoidable issues the big change is very delayed, we hope to have it to you sometime this week, before next Sunday, if not it will accompany next Sunday's changes.
