What are they thinking! How would they get the information that this is 1 T!?! What are your opinions.. I have to say that Habbox is way wrong about the value of this sleeping bag..

Moved by Slowpoke (Forum Moderator) from "Anything about Trading and Furni" - I'd say it suits this forum better.

Thanks, because everyone I have talked to thinks that is ridiculous.. plus the X's are quite frustrated.. It sould be worth a lot more than that..

I havent seen any trades of the eXceptional Sleeping Bag, and therefore can't comment... If you want, collect a few values and report them in the report rare values section and help -Danube- and the others out alot =].
All values are conisdered in there and therefore you'll be making an active contribution to the site and the future of Habbox.

Hopefully, We'll sort this one out soon =]

I have seen one being offered at 2T, I know that's a whole throne difference but they're not 4/5 which a lot of owners seem to think.

Yes TAYLOOOR had 2 I believe and sold one at 4 T and another at 2 T..

I based it on trades reported to me at 1T, i've heard people selling 1 or 2 for 1T-2T may increase when i get more reports on it

You can't say that it "should" be worth more than one throne. Habbox values aren't based on what people think, they are based on trades witnessed. :)

I thought Habbox based reports on what they were TRADED for, not what people want to sell it for.

If I said I wanted to sell mine for 1HC or 5T, would you change the price to that?

And I've been offered 3T for mine, so 1T is inaccurate.

They are for what they are TRADED for. He is saying "heard" because he doesn't actually collect reports, us the reporters do. Thats why we are here... :)

I didn't say i based it on the people selling it. I just said i'd heard people saying that so i'm keeping my eye out for a trade :D

And Harry i do collect values too, i base everything on trades you reports and if i've also seen things traded at them values then that further backs them up :D

Yeah I have been offered 3 T for mine, but I wanted to sell my whole set and they didn't want full set.

So how do you collect super rare reports, how do you know the item was really traded? Me and Document could 'trade' ours without exchanging anything, then I could 'trade' it with somebody else and so forth.

I can't see how people can collect values for super rares...

Hazza

I'm no expert on Super Rare values and I normally follow casino owners to find out what they buy. I often also ask to see the item they have just traded. I'm more of normal/seasonal values reporter but when I do collect supers, this is how.

Also, Super Rare Trading forum helps. :)

So lets say... Document has 5 Thrones and a X Bag, and I have a X Bag.

He coukd 'trade' me for my 5 Thrones if he gives me his X Bag.

He can simply pick up his X Bag, put down his 5 Thrones and I just say my X Bag was traded off him.

We've not traded but we've created a 5T value.

That could be applied to most values then couldn't it? We do try to be as accurate as possible, and try to make sure the trades aren't fake. This is why most reporters use furni shops to collect values. For the record, we never use trade city or any other massive trade rooms because you will never be able to tell in them rooms.

It would only be applied to super rare values - because all other rares are too common and there'd be trades of those items every day.

What I'm trying to point out, is that you can't prove one trade is not fake - unless you perform the trade, but then you can be biased.

Like I said we try to be as accurate as possible, maybe sometimes what you are implying does happen but you can never really be sure. Obviously, most of the time these trades are real but you may occasionally get some people who do this.

So 1.5t at the MOST would be reasonable.

Well if noone does actually trade it, they need to get a guide price, which is up to the seller of sleeping bag.

Habbox cant up the price, because you would like it to be worth more:$

I feel that a best price range for this is between 1-2T, but i'm not going to change it because of what you have said (Even though i agree) i need to physically see some trading.

If you agree.. then why was it posted on habbox as 1 T in the first place? Maybe it should just be taken down until the real value of it comes?.. Next time I would suggest that you confirm the value before you make an assumption about a value of a super such as the eXceptional sleeping bag..

i think this was because of the trade at 1t.
however, dan has now changed it to 1t45

He made NO assumption

I repeat NO.

He was reported a trade TWICE, of 1t, and if you tell me that is not evidence, then what the hell is evidence?!

But have you ever thought that this could be ONE person trading them to their clone... plus where is the proof of that?... This discussion is over since it has been changed to 1 T 45 :) Thank you all.

I have to agree. I think the price is very low, seeing as it's never going to be released again, very few exist, and very few have been sold. To be honest, I think there shouldn't be a value just yet, but that's just my opinion.

well, I still say habbox values ae either fake or the rare value reporters are crap :p like the thrones now, one day they are 63hc, everybody selling for 63hc and even 64hc, but value doesnt go up to 64hc, some people sell for 62hc and next day it's valued 62hc and another day later while everybody is still selling for 62 or 63hc it drops to 61hc? habbox is corrupt I tell you ;) dropping thrones to buy them cheap, then raise value to make some more furni out of it ^^ you guys are no better then hackers or scammers only having furni on your mind if it's like that, wich I think it is ;)

Habbox values are not faked or fixed. I've worked for the Rare Values department myself and I can tell you now that all the values are based on reports from the staff and are not just updated by one person who feels a value needs a change as so many people seem to think. Site management check in with the manager regulaly to check that he/she is doing the job correctly and fairly. Also, I find it miraculous that you seem to think you know of every throne traded in a day. It's fatuous to sit there and say what they've been going for because quite frankly, you only know of the trades you've witnessed. Rare Value Reporters see hundreds of trades a day and if a value is updated, the new value is calculated by averaging out the values reported - Habbox do not fix values.

In future, instead of trying to publically belittle Habbox, I suggest you keep your unreasonable, absurd claims to yourself.

Slowpoke tells the truth :P They're not fixed in anyway, they go to popular trade rooms and see what stuff is going for like if me and my mates where all buying and selling thrones for around 70 HCs each then if they saw it quiet a few times they would update the values. :P

You do know only danube and a assistant manager can change the values, and danube doesnt even own a throne??

Why the **** do you use there forum if thats how you feel?

Habbox has NEVER dropped the thrones value massively it has only ROSE.

I wouldn't say that at all. Habbox Values are very accurate, and the valuers work hard to try and get the best range of values from different trades so that they can put a fair value on a rare, all I was saying is that because not many have been traded, I think there should still not be any value on the sleeping bag as it seems like it's hard to get an accurate price on this super because some people are selling high, and some low.

Exactly my dear sir!

People like Document how much time and effort the RVR's put into getting values. Tbh wqas this thread made so you could sell your sleeping bag for more than you bought it? Thats what it seems to me.
