And if you can't cope with doing lots of coursework such as portfolios and assignments then you may not enjoy it.

It looks quite good and it covers quite a lot of work so it might require a lot of dedication.

Well, if that's what you want to do in life then you should look into taking it. There's a lot of money to be earned these days via computer games etc, and if you're a fanatic then go for it. Though, you may have nothing to fall back onto if that line fails, as i'm sure employers won't really value a BTEC in that field too highly.

When I was in college I did the BTEC National Diploma in Computing, which is one up from the Certificate. I recommend taking the Diploma as you get an extra A level.
The only difference really is the Certificate has 12 units and the Diploma contains 18 units.
There is quite alot of work, espically if you want merits/distinctions. It is all coursework so don't worry about exams.

I did a similar course to that last year, is it a coursework based course?
It sounds like a load of hard work to me, but if that's the sort of thing that appeals to you then I think you should take it.

I'd take it. If that's what you want to do then take it also. But BTEC is a lot of assignments along the way (well there is in Business Studies for me :P).

Looks good to me. I do agree with the points made about all or nothing with that course tho.
It looks good, but you should be aware about the 'not so enjoying' side of it :P
