IDEA! Credits?

Hey guy and girls of habboxforum!

I have just come up with an idea, which i think could be really successful!

Basically instead of purchasing VIP, you could purchase 'credit.'

This credit would be bought in batches of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50.

VIP would cost 15 credits.
VIP+ would cost 40/45 credits.

It would be £1 on paypal or mobile for 10 credits, but if you buy 50 you get a 50p discount.

Once you have purchased this credit, you can click to buy VIP or VVIP - No one would have to set it up, so VIP would come straight away.

I feel this idea would be successful as:

1) Habbox would make more money than normal, as people would have to buy 20 credits to get one month of VIP, so there would be 5 credits left spare (These could be used in the future.)
2) People could choose when to buy VIP, and could buy up to 5000 credits per time - Could be bought again, when there is space.

This idea, would be good, as people could change there mind what colour VIP they want right at the last minute, and wouldnt have to worry about buying VIP off someone quickly, as they might have spare credit on there account!

To get credits you would type on SMS:
GL HabboxVIP *Name* *Ammount of Credits*

This could be worked out, and i realise you would have to set up more lines - So perhaps only sell 30 credits via SMS.

Quick run through:

I want to order credits via SMS.
GL HabboxVIP DJ-Dominator 30
The credits would then show up on my account, then i could use them at any point.

This way definetly make's more sense because you are able to have the potential to buy VIP whenever you want to. So like, if you know your not going to be using the forum for the next few weeks you can just wait till your using it again and buy VIP straight away. I like this idea! Or if Habbox needed more money they could start selling Rep again. :P So like 10 credits for 20 rep points or something, which I'm sure people would buy.

(Thats the reason they dont sell VVIP via SMS, coz you need another line)

You wouldnt if they set up more than one line, but as they dont want to do that, surely paynog for credits would be ideal?

I like your idea but then it's gunna be costing us £2 per 1 month VIP.
And however much for VIP+
This will just annoy more people as we don't want to have to speand loads more money.
We are already buying VIP to help Habbox, So I think the current system is fine.

I said 30 :D Thats 3 pound per 2 months.

It could perhaps be 15 credits for 1.50, then youy would purchase this 3 times via SMS for VVIP.

I just thought it would be a way to sell VIP, VIP+, maybe rep, and it could also be given in competitions as prizes.

The idea of this, is that habbox could sell anything they wanted, all on ONE line, as the reason they dont sell VIP+ on SMS, is because they dont want to set up another line, so i think this would match habbox's needs, and you could buy bulk ammount of coins but not have to use them all at once!

The main thing is habbox could run it ALL on one line, and could make future ideas, and still sell them via this one line!

I dont think a modification exists for it anyway so I don't think its even possible.

It was a good idea though but I think the system is fine as it is now. There is no point trying to fix something which isnt broken. Yes, try and improve it and I understand your ideas but unfortunately it isn't possible. It might be worth thinking about / trying to code if habbox decide to sell other things in the future.

I think it would be better off as it is, it's plain, easy and everyone is used to it.

And I'd hate it if the forum made reputation purchaseable again... (I'm assuming that they removed it...)

I used different colours, to try and show duifferent parts :D

5000 was just a random limit :D



It was a good idea though but I think the system is fine as it is now. There is no point trying to fix something which isnt broken. Habbox only sell VIP atm anyway. Good idea for the phoneline though.

I know they do ATM, but they could sell other things in the future!

They could use these credits in events and competitions too.

It would also require a new system to be programmed. And imho i don't think any of the staff could do so :P

You make it sound impossible :P

nvr could also easily accidently give you 6 months of VIP instead of 1..

system could be programmed with the right people.

You can track that though if they suddenly get 6 months VIP added, but if you accidenly gave someone 1000 instead of 100 you wouldn't be able to tell as they could say "yeh i had 900 before i bought the extra 100" unless you put in a tracking thing, which would be even more coding :)
