A girl at the local public pool..

Hey, my friend who is in my class said that hes met this lass over at the swimming baths a few weeks ago, they meet up on a thursday night after school at around 5:30 ..

I asked if i could come along, (at this time i didnt know he had a girlfirned @ the baths.)

he said sure and then on the way he told me all about his girlfriend. she sounded nice, she goes with her 2 cousins one who has a disease who easily pukes, and has a bit of blood in the sick.
and the other just, well, normal.

so i hung around with them and i asked my friend, robin, if he could introduce me properly and see if i could get one of her cousins. he agreed and him and his girlfriend decided to set me and her cousin up, fanel (or sumit)

by that she meant she'd pretend to break up with robin so that fanel would feel sorry and go with me, (i didnt want that, btw)

It worked adn later at around 7, we got out and got changed. at that point she was 'going' with me.

I get out and robin says, oh shes found out about it all being a joke , me and my girlfriend splitting up to get you set up, i said "oh?"

we hada quick chat with the girls and i asked her out myself, she agreed but very shy, so i am waiting until thursday to be with her, i dont know if i am going with her or it was a joke.. robin says i am but i aint sure.


My Q is,
DO you think meeting up once a week for like a hour and a bit is enoiugh? maybe talkiung via msn aswell ?

She is 1 year younger than me,

she has similar interests as me, (she hates bullying that kinda thing..)

and do you think this would work out, robin pretending to split up so that fanel would sypathy her cousin and go out with me. .

I DID NOT WANT ROBIN AND HIS GIRLFRIEND TO TRICK FANEL LIKE THAT! I HAD NO SAY IN IT.

I assume you mean a swimming pool - where you go for a mess around and exercise - not bathing or tolieting (is that a word? :().

I would say once a week is ok plus if you speak on MSN, however you need to know what she is like in school with other boys - I have known other people in the past that have ended up splitting up due to other boys. Also why not just do 'things' with her, and not go out as in girlfreind/boyfreind?

Despite the little 'scam' (can't think of better word?), she still agreed to go on a date with you so that's a good thing. You both sound shy as you didn't dare go up to her and you said she 'shyly' agreed so maybe MSN would be a good idea for you to both come out of your shells and get more confident with each other. I think you should try and make the effort to go out with each other more than once a week as eventually, she may start to feel unloved. :)
