Hi, this is really annoying me now. I downloaded Adobe Flash CS3 to use the trial, and during the installation it froze so I closed it. It didn't install Flash CS3 onto my laptop, but it's on "Add or remove programs" and "Your Uninstaller". Whenever I try to re-install via the setup program it just says "Initializing flash CS3" then closes. Nothing happens afterwards.

I've removed Flash CS3 via the control panel and Your Uninstaller, but it just wont disappear. After closing Your Uninstaller then reopening it, it comes back. I've tried running CC too.

Is there anything that'll get rid of it?

Thanks.

Download Glary Utilities: http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://www.glaryutilities.com/download.htm&sa=X&oi=smap&resnum=1&ct=result&cd=1&usg=AFQjCNG-itJ4EkI7El-RcPGVDjamPWX2QQ then when it's downloaded, open it and go to the modules tab, click privacy and security at the left hand side and open file shredder. Then, you can add files that you do not want and the files will be permanentely deleted. Hope this helps.

It affects CS3 (un)installations if Firefox is running I think...

I'll give it a try, cheers Wayne.

He's not trying to remove Flash Player, he is trying to remove Flash CS3 the application :)

I know its not the best solution but maybe go into Program Files and just delete the stuff from there?

Johno, good plan except registery will still be there.. that is a good idea, but you will need a registry cleaner, such as tune-up utilities or CCleaner to clean up the registry once it discovers the registry isnt linked to anything..

I've tried everything. I used CCleaner, no use. I used Net Tools' uninstaller. No use again. I used Your Uninstaller 2008 many times, I also tried booting into safe mode. I removed the registry keys and then it goes, but when I go to install the actual installer never loads up.

Help :(

Save important files to removable storage, and bring your computer back to a date when it wasnt installed using system restore.

Save important files to removable storage, and bring your computer back to a date when it wasnt installed using system restore.

I forgot to mention that I have also tried that, the restore doesn't work for a reason that Windows wont tell me. :(
