I mean above the 3.51 one or whatever it is.

I need some cash but working 5 hours for 15 quid won't really be worth it, thanks for any helpful replies :)

If you're under 18 I don't think you'll find a job which pays more than the minimum wage.

You get paid extra if you work saturdays and sundays, and you also get paid more if you work over time :)

Upmarket places like M&S, Debenhams and John Lewis do. So do lowmarket places like Lidl. Clothes shops like H&M, River Island, New Look do. It can also depend on whether the place is franchised or not -franchised places typically pay more.

well, not just franchised places. Any shop that has a big name that does have franchises but the shop isnt eg. McDonalds, Subway, BK etc will tend to pay more than minimum wage.

Supermarkets pay good for your age especially Asda for under 18s. Marks and Spencer pay well but it's difficult to get a job there.

CEX, John Lewis and M+S aren't available atm. Thanks anyway for the advice thus far.

TK Maxx is very good (Loads in and around Nottingham), my sister got something like £6 an hour and she was under 18. There's two in Nottingham and they're hiring for Christmas atm I imagine.

im a notts man and finding it hard to get anything. >_<

There must be loads of competition for jobs here cause there is literally almost no jobs and the ones that are get taken by fudging students.

You gotta be 18 for the cinema. Probably 18 for anything that sells age-restricted stuff. I might try asda.

And all I want is bloody £20/week.
