I think it is pretty respectable how this was managed/handled, and kudos to you for that.

It really shows this site has some potential, with management that can handle issues like that in a nice, orderly manner, and then apologize about it.

Most sites now just fire back, place the blame on other things, and flame everything.. +REP to you ;)
