Or even new jumpers or just clothes , maybe a coat because its freezing atm and dont have one :P, or preorder cod 5 for the wii or buy fifa 09? Even some laptop accessories like a new webcam. Mm I spose you know what im kind of in to, so what do you think ill most get my moneys worth from.

Don't just spend it for the sake of it, keep it for when you desperately want something.

This guy speaks the truth.

I always get money and spend it straight away simply because "I have money to spend" and then I end up regretting it.

Invest in Bank Of Scotland (nyse) if you won't need it for 2 years...

I used to be like that when I got EMA. Now when I get my money, I just leave it in the bank until I need it.

Oh that's the worst thing ever! Buying stuff not because you want it or need it but because you've got the money. I do it all the time :(

Yeah, keep it somewhere safe and then eventually, there'll come a time when you need money and you can go 'hey, I've got money in [insert safe place here]' :)

I always used to spend money whenever I had it, just on general crap I didn't need. Glad I got over that ;)

Why would you NEED to buy something? Put it on a saving account and save up money till you find something you really want to buy, instead of spending your money on something you don't really like but because you just really want to spend your money?

That's pretty much the gist of the replies to the topic yeh, I guess it can be down to boredom. That's why I used to just spend money for pretty much no reason at all.
