Was working fine the other day, went to plug it in and it says 'Unrecognised Device', when I go into USB status screen, it also says 'Unknown Device'.

Any ideas guys?

has your motherboard got the drivers installed on your PC?

The modem doesn't actually seem to be installed, but when I plug it in, can't re install it, cos it won't recognize it.

Hmmm, I don't think I have had this problem.

Maybe you need an actual new USB Modem altogether, seeing as its not recognising it.

Mine has been playing up lately, its just not been connecting to the internet strangely enough, must of missed a payment or something. :P

I would suggest taking it into Phones4U or somewhere that can fix it, most probably a 3 shop is better though, that is if ones near you! :)

Sorry I couldn't be of much help, I don't really know much about them. :(

The main problem is the software has been uninstalled however I cannot now reinstall it because it won't recognize the modem in order to reinstall, if that makes any sense at all? :D

Did it not come with a disk?
You should uninstall everything related to it and try again. :)

I mean, have you tried to install it again via the disk?

Yeah, thats the best bet. Try reinstalling the drivers, if that doesn't work. Go to the website of the maker of the USB Modem and see if they have some sort of support section.
