Probably, but I was able to remove it very easily. Scan your PC for spyware and viruses and then rescan to see if it finds it again.

My spyware thing found it. It's description was that it was sending data that I typed and viewed and sent it to third party sites.

I know it. Norton AntiVirus, McAfee and Virus protection programs DON'T detect it, if you use spybot Search and Destroy it clearly states it as a 'Tracking Site Cookie' and a few details, I had about 6 keyloggers.

I can confirm BobbIT for you. It's basically the exact same thing, which is able to log on to your account.

all cookies and tracking cookies send information to third party sites, but they are not keyloggers, tracking cookies send things like what sites your been on and stuff like that for advertising perposes only, they do not record keystrokes or passwords like a keylogger would. MOST tracking cookieS are relativly harmless, but if you like privicy then delete them using Ad-Aware SE

I have both Ad-Aware and Spybot.

Spy Bot seems to get rid of bad things like Malware which Ad-Aware can't find.

Ad-Aware gets rid of naughty cookies.
