Do you mean the amount of rep you get ?

No, it's fine as it is.

It would be better if we got a bit more now (VIP+ could go up too) since it takes a lot more to get more rep points now.

I think it should be kept at 15. You earn reputation for your posts etc, not for just buying VIP.

I know that, but you can get 15 points from one person, on one post alone, let alone a whole month of VIP. :P

30 would be perfect for to be honest, it's quite hard getting alot of reputation.

Yeh, that's what I voted. 30 for VIP and 70 for VIP+ in my opinion (since VIP+ costs a little over double than VIP).

I also voted 30, 15 rep points get you no where nowadays. :(

Yeah 70 for VIP+ would be great :) To get a full set of the blocks 10 I believe you need like 900 points I believe, that would that a bit of time.

15 points was fine with the old rep system, but its much harder to move up now. 30 would be fine for VIP. 60/70 for VIP+ as Harry (Slowpoke) stated.

Nahh, it's fine as it is, if it gets highered then it'll be far too much like buying rep which they scrapped to regain control of the rep system with. But the Rep points given for vip+ should be higher seeing as they are paying more than most people so 30 points (double) per month sounds fair.

ooo I just realized I haven't collected any points for my recent subscriptions, oh well :(.

900 points is like nothing lol? O.o

I think it should stay as it is.
If you buy 6MONTH vip you end up getting 90 rep points. So if you raised it more what's it gonna be then? + Then we will just see users going around with loads of rep which they have not earned.
15 REP Points is more then enough :)

VIP is to support habbox and keep it running, not for you to get max features from it

It's obvious some prejudice is gonna exist in here as the VIP's will want more, but people who don't and won't buy VIP will say they don't want it to change :P

But it should be left at 15. :)

If it's at 15, there may as well be no rep with VIP at all.

15 is too easy to get, and the word 'VIP' doesn't exactly bring 15 to mind. :P

Not really, since those rep changes took place a while ago, i've only gone up by like 10 points at the max lol :'(

Please don't be offended, but for someone who has only been on the forum for a year your rep power isn't bad at 7 is it ;)

The current 15 for VIP is reasonable as is the 30 for VIP+ although having said that I do think a bonus of say 50 rep points to anyone who buys VIP+ for either six or twelve consecutive months.

I'm afraid I have to pick 60, if we can just get some more rep into the system, more people will begin using rep again. If everyone has higher rep power's, it'll be easier to move up rep power's and then people might begin using the rep system again, the only way with the current system to get rep moving again is to put some more in the system. This would work.

It's not the rep powers that are stopping people from repping as alot of people still have quite high powers, it's the crappy 50 people rule that is :(.

I personally think it should be 0/month, just because you buy something doesn't mean you should get a better reputation on the forum... The whole idea of reputation is to be earned, not bought...

Rep system changed while you where in active, it's so hard to get rep power now. It's like 5k posts per 1 rep, 1 year registered and so on. :P

But you don't need to increase the amounts of rep in order for people to be involved in it again. When people realize that it's practically the same as it was (except lower numbers for, well, everyone) and they actually start repping people rather then saying "oh rep is pointless" or "I'd rep you but since those changes [a long time ago] it's useless so why bother".

Every little point counts and when people stop saying that it's useless and do something about it, that's when it will change.

As for the poll, I voted 15.

As for the poll, I voted 15.Yeah in theory your right I guess, but in a year or two, everyone will have much higher rep power's, and it'll just get easier to go up rep power's as rep would be worth more, eventually after a few more years it would get to the silly stage we ended up in before this mess. But at the moment it is unbalanced as it is so difficult to go up a rep power, there's no point repping others really, as it won't make that much of a difference, it will make a small one yes, but there's less rep going round and rep power's are very slowly moving up. Surely if more rep was put in the system, people would be more inclined to spread it around as they won't be stuck on the same rep power for absolutely ages.

But yes --SS-- I agree, the 50-people rule is the main barrier stopping rep from getting around and increasing.

Rep shouldn't even come with VIP.

More rep would make rep more worthwhile, i mean i HATE getting rep from 1 rep power coz it is pretty much useless...

I disagree tbh. No one is gonna get rep now, as it is so haerd to get. People dont bother +repping. More rep, more people = better community - As people can thank each other for the post!

I fail to see how rep makes a better community, to be honest, while you could argue with me that rep didn't change anything (Gomme that is not an invitation) I believe it actually damaged the community.

Regardless, the existance of a "thriving" reputation system where people have ridiculous amounts of reputation does not affect the quality of the forum. And I do say thriving with the underlying assertion that I disagree with claims that we need to "invigorate" the rep system.

But that's neither here nor there. I think we'll keep rep limits the same (and for the most part judging by the poll about half agree.

In the way i meant better community, i meant it as, people feel more like giving each other their appreciation, which sadly gets taken away, with the rep!

Rep has long since ceased to function as a means of conveying appreication, yes you do get normal reputation that lets people say "thanks" but a large portion of the reputation system is tied up in rep that wasn't a "thank you."

I also don't think that the number attached to the "thank you" should really matter if its to appreciate others, therefore raising rep powers and rep in the system isn't necessary.

You're not saying much there against my point.. that's what I'm saying, people don't bother repping because it's 'so hard to get'. If people would stop saying that it's so hard to get and they actually bothered to rep, then it wouldn't be a problem. When the rep changes happened I had like 8 rep then got lowered to 2 or something. I haven't even done much and I'm at 7 rep now. I'm sure that if you make a really good post, someone will rep you. Continue to do so and the rep will keep coming :)

Also, if you're repping just to say thanks then the rep doesn't really matter, does it? You're just saying thanks!
