I felt the need to post that I've almost passed NCEA Level 1.
(year 11)
In New Zealand we have NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Association) and under that comes NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement - i think) Anyway there is 3 levels, Level 1 is Year 11, Level 2 is Year 12 and Level 3 is Year 13.
Each year you have to gain 80 NCEA credits to pass. We have Internal Assessments which are the things worth credits that we do in class and we have External Exams which are at the end of the year.
I've got 68 credits, 12 more till I pass which I can easily gain in the exams. So I'm relieved to know I'm passing my first year of NCEA!
