Hey, I'm having trouble downloading music off limewire, or any torrenter for that matter. I have a netgear router, with a really good wireless connection. Everything works fine, but when I get limewire up, the upstream and downstream is 0 kb/s. This is the same on my laptop and pc, so it must be something with the internet security or something... anybody know how to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Try using another programme. Alot of people are having this problem i think.

Limewire automatically gives you a basic connection speed. You may need top update this. I.e. It could be set up as a cable connection when you actually have ADSL etc. That sped mine up 20x faster but still very slow ;)

HA.

Ok, spend 7.90 for 10 songs. Great. :eusa_wall

Yeah, try portforwading. Or get a new router?

You need food, so you don't mind paying... You don't need music, so it's okay to steal it, kk? :8

If piracy didn't exist, we'd still be listening to 90's music because who the **** wants to pay for songs from artists they've never heard of? How will new artists get recognized?

Youtube wouldn't survive without piracy.

Rumors are circulating that Limewire has been blocked on certain ISPs during peak times or all the time, not sure if it's true but it's worth checking out if you can't acesss limewire.

Youtube wouldn't survive without piracy.

False, record companies upload music videos to youtube (probably some sort of deal with YouTube.)

Without piracy (not just music, videos, tv shows, etc) Youtube would be a no-name site, not as popular as it is today meaning that companies wouldn't bother uploading the videos.

If it weren't for Illegal Downloads I wouldn't have heard of iSpyStrangers, gone to their gig, liked their support acts and bought their Merch and Albums. Illegal Downloads save the Scene.

But also with piracy as it gets a bigger thing, record labels/artists wont get their money and then they will stop producing. This doesent just go for music too.

Do you go outside and pay for background noise and for people to talk to eachother?

@NN - it's true but that's the RIAA's fault. The RIAA is suppose to protect artists but all they really want is the money.

@Scotteh - true that

About 500 times better, faster, easier than Limewire. Find video, steal audio, DL. :D
