I find that a lot of songs are good for backing, don't use songs people want to hear as it annoys them. Dance songs are pretty good e.g. stuff by freemasons

If your friends are DJs for habbo radio sites ask them if they have any backing tracks. If not then simply do what ,Jess, said.
I use Newton - streamline and Honey bee - ooh la la :P

streamline is good, i use freemasons as mine, instrumental versions of popular songs are good too

Instrumentals can be easily obtained, or you can go professional like me and purchase special cool ones ;).

My backings are Newton-Streamline, Freemasons-Forget the name :S, Eric Prydz-Pjanoo (Radio Edit), Britney Spears-Lucky (REMIX) and once or twice I've used Taylor Swift-Picture To Burn (Instrumental)

I have a really good one by Britney Spears, it's a Lucky Dance Remix.
Remixes and techno mixes are always good ;D
