FIFA 09 - Worth it?

Hi there :),

I am planning to buy Fifa 09 but am not sure if it's worth it. I have never really bought any football games before although I have played them plenty over at friends and stuff.

Is the online experiance good on a 1MB connection or is it too laggy?

Is 4 player (local) fun?

Its a really cool game! really recommend it. Graphics are amazing. I bought it the day it came out, and i havent regretted it :P

It's an epic game and you don't really need LIVE to enjoy it, but it just enhances the game.

I don't think the game is THAT good.. But that might be because I don't follow soccer?

I'm a big fan of football games and I can say that I've officially been gone back to FIFA this year rather than PES. Something I'd never thought I'd do

It has a huge flaw though. If you try to play multiplayer offline, i.e. with a couple of mates round your house, and all play in one match, the game freezes as soon as you start the match.

I had this and when I did some reasearch apparently its a common problem with the game and not just me :P

This is a problem for both XBOX and PS3
