They're all the worst jackets i've ever seen in my life. They are really camp for a start and just a big turn off, seriously, get none of them.

The chequered ones remind me of lumberjacks hehe.

But the second one is kinda smart but casual too, it's okayish ;)

Like them all, might buy #2 actually... but er, if you can afford them, i'd get 1,2 & 4. I just feel the red check is a little too lumberjack.

no offence, but coming from the person who wears Bench, Mckenzie and Henleys...

I'd go for number 2.

+REP. 9/10 of the male commiters to this fashion forum are wearers of said clothing brands. Shame they don't make Lacoste rings that fit across 10 fingers or they'd be all over them...

The lumberjack ones looks like something from QD.

The other two look like womens, but if I had to pick- I'd go for the 2nd one.

Yeah in the same sense that Debenhams and BHS are brands, not the same sense that Ralph Lauren or Oakleys are

Too many have the last one now, I see it on guys wayy too much.
I love the second its got the balance between casual and smart, I really like that.
Not too keen on either of the checkered ones but for the record I prefer the green as I dont like the collar of the red.

Bench, Mckenzie and what-not are at probably the same standard as Topman. I'd say H&M, Primark etc are "cheap-market quality crap". I'm defending either sides but calling Topman cheap-market quality crap is abit stupid tbh :P

how can you like Henleys, all the pikeys at college plaster themselves in it and they they're rich buying 'designer' clothes!!!!!!?

River Island and Republic are crap... everyone shops there and buys the same clothes and they just try to copy trends/ styles Topman start.

In my opinion, the people I have seen to NOT like these kind of clothes, eg Topman altogether, are people who generally wear nylon hoodies if u catch ma drift. It's well easy to shop @ places like Topman and still have your own style, much more so that if you shop @ JDsports. :P

LOL alright then... Henleys IS designer, the actual fabric quality is far better than market crap and it's a recognised and respected brand. River Island have had their own decent clothing line for many many years and are not merely copies of Topman - it's just that that particular type of fashion is often characterised by fools who buy their entire wardrobe at Topman.

Or not. There isn't just Topman or chav, there are many other (better) places to buy clothes that are actually really nice. I'm currently sitting here in a Ralph Lauren polo, Rocawear jeans and a pair of Air Force Ones - you wouldn't see any of that in Topman. Shopping at Topman gives you a choice between indie/scene and just plain casual, and if you're going to plain casual you can get that anywhere. JD actually has some really good clothes if you can get over your "OMGCHAV" idea and step inside.

If you like buying cheap clothes that everyone else is wearing, go to Topman by all means.
If you like wearing clothes that cost a bit more but are better quality and are something you can take pride in, get real designer clothes.

geez man why do you have to like either one or the other, surely its best to mix and match. I agree quality is important but sometimes these designers are just TOO expensive so its nice to get a few really nice things from the expensive things and then buy the majority at decent highstreet shops.

I wear mossimo....lol.

I don't know any of these brands. From what I can gather though is that Topman is pretty unoriginal and goes for the type of people who shop for cheap clothes that standout. /shrug.

tbh.. who gives a **** what shop people buy their clothes from? I personally like some of Topman's stuff, but then hate other bits. I love some lacoste stuff... and hate other stuff! Even some designer stuff, like in house of frasier - I sometimes buy myself something expensive from Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren or w/e if I save up...

BUUUUT to resolve the issue - It doesn't matter where you shop at all. You're only making yourself seem immature by arguing over a shop. And, imo - people going on about market quality crap - I'd call that Tescos or Primark.. not higher retail stores. :|
