Oh nanobots basically and they will never happen. i haven't read the source but i know what your on about. basically they're programmed to find and kill anything inside you that isn't human. There is many problems with this ofcourse because your food isn't human so what i it destorys that before you disguest it.. or it gets out into your pet which isn't human. and eats that.

These are 2 reasons why the current way of thinking in the nanobots area means we won't be seeing them for a long time ;)

Food isn't human, the acids inside us like sulphric acid isn't human, drugs like vacsinations aren't human, metal pins in bones and hip replacements aren't human! brest cancer might not be all that's gone!

The robot doesn't operate :S
You would like have a nanobot injected into you or you would swallow it or something LOL Nano = something you can't see via microscope

Depends how strong the bots are, like they could slowly each away like a snail on a leaf and it suddenly snap.. or you could wake up with no hip :| that's why they're a bad idea
