What is it?
The rare grabber is a game found mostly in the private rooms trade section that allows your Habbo to pay for a go on an Arcade Style Grabbing Machine. The idea of the game is to get succesful co-ordinates that match up with a rare upon the grid.

The Layout
The game is laid out simply, but can be confusing at times.
The owner will have 12 Holodices/Dicemasters with 1 2 3 4 5 6 going up one side of their room, and 1 2 3 4 5 6 going a ta right angle the other way, this is our 'grid'. A few rares (Average 4-6 rares) are then placed upon the grid which are seen as being the prizes. There are two other dices that are rolled by the player or the owner, these are for selecting the co ordinates.

How to play
Firstly, you must pay the owner the amount of furniture that they are asking for. The average price for one game is 0.5 but some can be 1.0 dependent on the prizes available.
After paying the owner, You roll 2 dices which give you your co-ordinates.
If you rolled a 6,3, and for example, a DJ deck was upon that square you will have won the DJ deck! If there is nothing upon the square then you have lost the game.

What to watch out for
Scams are high in this game. With such a High Price per game in most cases, most of room owners only want your furni. Therefore being kicked after paying has a high occurence. Make sure you trust/know the owner before you place your payment.
Another likely scam is obviously, not paying your prize, this is found in many games and therefore is still one to watch out for.

The game is a very enjoyable game but can become addictive at times!
Therefore i'll leave you with a URL. www.gambleaware.co.uk (http://www.gambleaware.co.uk)
;) Cya around!

If you do it with presents you're much more likely to be scammed imo? The host can just pick up the present, and say s/he opened it and there was a duck inside.

I made one of these games a few weeks ago on Habbo, and you can actually make a LOT of furniture from doing it.

So far I've given away a few petals and Around the World Collectables.. it's actually quite a nice game to run too.

I made this game on another online game when it was open around 8 months ago, that turned out to be a rather "hit" too.
Thanks to the person who actually create the original of this, it's time we saw something other than falling chairs and pod racing. You'll never see me "paying to stay" for anything, but this game got me giving some stuff out. ;)

i remember making this game on Tigr for the fairground competition, but i never thought of actually charging lmao
i lost quite a lot from doing that but it was pretty fun to host
but people have copied it now and it's become more popular, so i might properly re-open but with rares.. i'll think about it :)

I did it with people that I worked with every day - so we were all close friends :P Plus they didn't pay to play, they got stuff for free :D

I don't gamble anyways, but i've noticed over the past week this game has started to get very very popular. Everytime someone sends a mass message it's always about a Rare Grabber. Thing i though i keep getting messages of people winning supers on them and that, it's a wonder the hosts make anything from it.

I can see this getting a bit like casinos.

How many people actually play though? Most ask for a HC and how many people would actually pay that to play?
I have been in Rare Grabbers rooms today and didn't see a single person play. They just sat there and watched. But no one played.

The first one to start the current trend, Blink.1!8!2 's, makes major amounts, he made about 10 HC in a day from it.

EDIT: Who does Demoiii actually think he's kidding? He's just ripped the concept and changed the name and now he's passing it off as his own creation. :S

Yeh profit is big in this game, but you have got to make back what your going to give away before you make anything.

I had a blue monolith one yesterday and 86m won, little profit there, but today im up a wee bit?

Watch out tho, many of them are scams and only do it if you trust the owner!

I don't know who created it, but I love running mine. The key is finding the correct balance of odds and percentages, that is, the number of prizes and their respective values on the board. I've made a hefty sum playing mine, and I also enjoy watching it.

Oh yeah, and you stay on pop for 3 hours.

I have seen yours. Someone is playing literally all the time. You must make quite a lot.
