Well im a bit of a noob in all this kind of thing. Anyway i created a .co.uk domain free off ovh and i got a email off nominet saying i had to create a p,w to log into their site well im just wondering will this cost me because when i go onto there main site all's i can see is prices :eusa_wall

Does everyon who register a .co.uk domain get a email off nominet? its just like lists of my contact details and what domain i own ;s

I think you may also get a certificate too! Or at least, that's what a few of my friends have :S

Yeh, I got one in the post when I bought a .co.uk domain.

You buy it from someone then sign up to nominet.

I got a letter which had the password etc on to login to their site.

You have to put the WHOIS information in, its a legal requirment I think.
