View Full Version : FireFox Tip.. (Passwords)
If you've saved passwords before but recently deleted cookies or something then there is a way to find all of your saved passwords.
Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords

Something happened to me a while back that stopped me from using the firefox save password manager.
Basically, I downloaded a file and scanned it. It was clean, so I opened it. It said loading, then said "it's ready". It was meant to make FF speed up. Anyway, it didn't work so I opened it in notepad and I saw something peculiar at the bottom... a sites FTP and password... I checked the site, and in it's logs were all of my saved passwords. I reported the site to the host and then logged into their control panel and delete my logs anyway. :P But that was so... well, weird, I suppose. It used an exploit in firefox I think.

Haha at above. Stealing families passwords :p
I use IE8 so don't need to worry :) (Saw it on FF a few weeks ago!)
No problem :P It's handy for me because I have so many different passwords and I usually clear cookies a lot and then this way I can just grab hold of the password. :D

Or if you just click 'remember password' it automatically remembers it?
And if you clear cookies it no longer remembers it so I do this and find my passwords?
You know how there's normally a drop down list of your user names, has that gone for everyone?
Mine was completely cleared but it's back now.
