So, new notebooks by the sound of things. I would usually post a load of rumors but there is too many utterly stupid rumors.
The current 'most likely' rumor is that this is the image.

I prefare that look, and it has no physical trackpad buttons, looks real.. as usual, its a blurry image :P
So, what are everyones predictions
mine are new laptops and the one more thing will be iLife/iWork 09 and new info on Snow leopard.
Edit - A Mockup of the above image.

Hmm, the event should be special. Personally I liked the way macbooks were, they looked more professional. I think apple want to change that and make it look fancier, some people will like that but I dont. Macbooks, im excited for them as they now will have nvidia graphics! I just think they will talk about the laptops atm, because thats what everyone is maily there for.

Google is yeilding me no coverage of the event. It was meant to happen at 10:00 AM Pacific and there's still nothing? :(
Apple UK Store's being updated though.
I really want to see if the original MacBook's are going up or down in price, however. As I'm getting one for Christmas.

What? No.. I was just thinking then, some windows fan at one of these big american newspapers (WSJ) must of been like.. hey, lets get Mac fans quaking in they're boots, because as we all know, Jobs is the 'life and soul' of apple, fanboys worry when he has a mild cold lmao.

This macbook will be able to have a dual DVI adapter so it sounds like you will be bale to have 2 external displays on it.
They should have totally removed the white/black plastic models and replaced them with the aluminium models and had an entry price of $999 for them. I'm dissapointed tbh I want an aluminum one but they're too expensive.

I'll be getting a MBP... in around four years time.
Come on Apple, seriously? £949 for a MacBook? £649 for the new Cinema Display?
I love them both, they are works of art. Truly beautiful machines, but I paid £550 for my MacBook! That's less than a Cinema Display!
I don't think I will be getting one of these new notebooks for some time, it's a helluva' lot of cash. My current MacBook will see me through till then.

I laughed when I heard this:
Q: Concern about the glossy screens. Are you going to offer another option?
A: Steve: We're going all glass -- we won't offer another version. Phil: You offset the reflection by the brightness, and consumers love it. One of the great things about a notebook is you can turn it however you want!

If you read about the event it was "The spotlight to notebooks" not desktops or minis or imacs or whatever you wanna call them.
Apple USA Store are selling the white macbook for: $999.00 which is roughly around; 574.155 in GBP. Everyone must know by now that prices do change when they go over seas from USA - UK.
