More than me.

Put me together the best PC you can for about £250-£300.

Not used for gaming, already have a monitor.

Just mainly for Internet use, but would love it to be as high spec for that price just incase.

Cheers guys. :)

Would you need an OS or are you sorting that? If so, what OS would you want (OSs are one of the most expensive things in a build for 250 quid)

Well I'm used to using Windows, but wouldn't mind OSX if possible?

You can't legally or easily use OS X, on a non-Apple branded computer :P

Anywho, Vista will be about £80, so thats one of the most expensive parts :P

Mobo: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/113965 - £49

That is £290 not including an operating system.

If you buy an operating system get either a 32 or 64 bit version of Vista Home Premium, costing around £70 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/123052 or http://www.ebuyer.com/product/123067

I ended up building like a gaming style PC for an UBER low budget lol.

The only way to crack the proce down more really would be to go with an AMD Athlon x2 system as these are much better performing CPUs then Pentium Ds (as in the system psoted by Sc0tteh) for a similar price. Also to go with a lesser graphicws card, but the one i posted is
currently on offer and very good value for money at the moment.

Summary of the specs i posted:

2.53GHz Core 2 Duo CPU
2GB RAM
250Gb hard drive
Nvidia 8600GTS graphics card

Thanks mate :D

If that is too much (remember you may need to add the price of an operating system), then i'll spec up an AMD system for you.
