Just finished up coding the new portfolio design, and to be honest i've gone for something really simple, possibly too simple.

I really like that! You haven't clogged it with unneeded features. Perhaps have a link somewhere with contact written on it? and when they click it a javascript box pops up with the contact box? (would fade the layout obviously) just a little addition :)
