I mean I know that the whole "Post your..." threads have gone and because of spamming but stuff like this :

Surely warrants a thread for itself, instead of spamming one thread with all the info it is all over the Microsoft forum. This isn't a jab at Minstrels in any form, just i'd like to be able to see something other than Fifa!

I totally agree but not about the subforum, I think that the same stance should be taken as was taken with the COD4 threads.

Make one thread and any other posts etc are posted in that one thread, if people make new threads the threads get merged and we don't have to look at the sheer amount of Fifa 09 threads

The posts are obvious spam and basically taking the piss, they'll be dealt with.

If there were a thousand and one legitamate threads about it then we'd consider it, but I only see one other thread made by someone else, not exactly an epidemic atm. As for subforums for games, because people generally move onto new games fairly quickly we try to steer clear of them because of what was predicted and happened with the GTAIV thing. If it becomes a major problem we'll consider it but one person spamming a forum isn't going to change our minds much ;)
