Maybe you heard of iHabbo.org or maybe you haven't. (Probably haven't)...iHabbo.org was founded around March 27th by mattPARTY! of Habbo US. We have been a radio fan site, and now we really realised that there are way to many. So iHabbo is taking a turn and now are going to be better than ever.

iHabbo is going to make the following:


Social Networking (Like Facebook, Myspace, etc.)
Have an upload system
Video uploading system (Like YouTube, Metacafe, WhatTheVlog.com, etc.)
Free content (Scripts, Layouts, etc.)

We need YOUR help though! We will be needing some ideas (seriously, through out any idea) and some workers. Write now me (mattPARTY!) and Nosx are running it and we need Graphic Artist, vBulletin Skin makers, and coders.

Now according to that, 4chan.org should be closed because I would hardly say that it provides "credible information" and its not exactly an organisation.

I think that you should revise some of your ideas. I think it's great you are starting a fansite but you need something more unique.

1) A social networking site won't become popular simply due to the fact that there is Habbo Homes. That makes it much easier for Habbo users to interact with other users without having to sign-up for a new website

2) An upload system is useless. It requires a good server with a large amount of bandwidth and disk space and to be honest, there are already thousands of well established uploading sites on the internet already, which it is simply impossible to compete with.

3) The video uploading system isn't beneficial to Habbo users in anyway, unless there is a use for it that I'm missing? Other than that, like the upload system idea - there are many well established sites (such as YouTube) which are much more widespread and users would prefer to use.

4) The free content idea is great but unless you have a large amount of unique content, then your again, going to be a small fish in a big pond.

i think he's the owner of habboring if i'm not mistaken, so he knows alot about the habbo resource sites.

i myself am trying to supply free downloads, but i'm making minimal progress.

I would just recommend you use a bunch of unique PHP scripts. Not the classic: Habbo Imager, Status Signatures etc..

If 4chan was going to be shut down for misuse of the TLD, they would have been shut down already, 4chan is a commercial image board which has faced a lot of media attention, so by it being a very non-anonymus site such as a Habbo fansite, it would have been "inspected" by someone from Nomiet.
