The unexpected happened last night when FOX ordered T:SCC back nine episodes as they have confidence ratings will increase during winter when American Idol starts again.
T:SCC and Prison Break have both been ratings bummers this season and many predicted it'd be cancelled by Christmas.
The decision also has to do with the new movie coming out in May. FOX also believes that will make ratings go up.
