I know that PC world are an extremely rubbish distributor.

I had an advent laptop 2 years ago, and it lasted a year, but I practically mistreated it extremely..

I'm not really sure if this is right for me, as I currently have a desktop computer packard bell istart 2311(1gb ram, AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+, Vista & 160gb HD space)

And my computer freezes a lot, just a year and a few months old.

If I buy this laptop, will it run much faster than my current computer?

Thanks to all posts that help and are not negative.

Looks alright, but all the laptops I have had have been rubbish!

+rep to anyone that posts views or anything, haha.

If it is good I may consider it myself

For £300 its a bargin... but you get exactly what you pay for.. you're paying near the lowest amount possible you're going to get the lowest quality components possible!

it'll be faster then your computer but not as realiable. Have one of these in the office at work at the moment under repair.. the screen cracked

Ah, so it's pretty fragile.

Would you say that it would be extremely faster? or just a bit? because I need a faster machine.

It's freezing? The specs on your pc look pretty decent. Do you defrag and do disk cleanup and all that crud reguarly?
