Has this ever occured to you that through out your life, time is ticking away, days just pass by, years pass by etc, and you never will do the exact same thing again. For example, there will never be another time to experience this day, Sunday 19th October 2008 at 7:44pm. It's kind of hard to explain. There will never be a year 1978, 1983, 1992, 2001, 2006 etc.

Yeah I think about that all the time. It's weird to think about it.

Yeah, it's weird to think about and hard to explain fully. I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about it. ;)
I thought I was the only one. As Brandon said, it is weird to think about it. Like, this day will never happen again. Nothing you can do about it though. Like, my best example of this is when people count down from like 20 for New Years eve till midnight and their on 17 and I think.. "Am on 17 second to it now and soon it will be 0 and the next year, stay 17 please" But it keeps going. Kind of a hard example to explain but when you know it yourself it doesn't need to have an explanation.

LOL no they're different people.
Time is good like you said HBK but some things you really think, I wish I could go back in time just 5 minutes! But you only have one chance and you live by it I guess.

yeah i agree
i sometimes wish i could go back in time say a few things/ not say a few things
one for example
i'd go back in time and tell my mate Mousey R.I.P to get his heart checked out
and not to go play footy on the day he died :'(
Inseriousity.

I prefer to think about the future than brooding on the past. As already been stated, we can't go back in time so it's ironically a waste of time thinking about it.

If that was the case, I agree I'd go and visit my Grandad as he passed away when I was at the Liverpool V Man United match. Also, I'd note down the lottery numbers in my head and go put the numbers on the week before they were announced! :)

I often think the same way. Do you ever think that 6/7 days last week were forgettable? Most of my days are spent doing w/e and then I just forget doing it the next day.
I also often think how drab peoples lives are. You spend one big chunk of your life being educated say 15 years maybe if you go to university, then you spend more than twice that amount 'working' for 45 years, then you spend your remaining years freely but by this time the majority of people are too old to do anything exciting. Isn't life great?

same i got offered to go visit my gran in hospital the day before she passed away and i hadn't been to see her at all but i went out drinking instead which is like biggest regret of my life.
but i don't ever think 'bout stuff like this being the only 19th October 2008 or whatever he mentioned lol

If you add up all the time you spend with your eyes shut due to blinking alone over the course of one year, the time lost is around a day.
