the community coding forum is absolutely pointless. whats the use of having a forum for help from a select few people when we can ask the whole forum including those select people?

As the forum guarantees a correct answer quickly.

true, but you always end up helping other people in threads made in the parent forum anyways.

Quality of help, freer of the flaming that often accompanies threads in those forums, and also something for those experienced coders who help to strive for ;)

Ok to put it simply:
We're better at what we do than most people, that's why we're there to help, because we know what we're doing better than most people and we're in more of a position to help than the people who try (lol) to answer questions in there.
